| Donnerstag, 13.11.2008 GROTTO: An Exploration of Light - Works by Adam Morey (2008-11-13 - 2008-12-31) "GROTTO: An Exploration of Light", works by ADAM MOREYis on view Nov. 13 - Dec. 31, 2008 with an opening reception Friday November 14, 2008, 6-9pm at DECORAZONgallery in Dallas. Adam Morey is just as interested in the work that art does (establishing its presence and existence) as the work that you do (observing it). As these boundaries shift for the observer-cognitive science proves that they are in constant flux-the art's voice can never be assumed to be a constant. Adam manifests these hushed conversations between the visible and the invisible within the surprisingly rich lexicon of transparency, translucency, and opacity immediately evident in his pieces. mehr... |
