"Lorenzo Pesce was born in Rome in 1973.
In 1992, after ending his secondary studies, he moves to Los Angeles, California. For ten years he also spends time in New York and London.
In the States he approaches photography and starts working as assistant and photographer. In 1995, he moves to New York, where he starts deepening his passion for photography joining ICP and SVA courses and becoming Stephen Barker's assistant.
From 1998 to 2000 he studies at the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena.
On May 2001 he realizes his first personal exhibition, "Chiaroscuriamericani".
At the beginning of the year 2003 the USA magazine PDN (Photo District News) indicates Lorenzo Pesce as one of the most interesting young photographer of the moment. In the same year he moves back to Rome and starts collaborating with advertising agencies realizing advertising campaigns and collaborations with travel magazines.

Later on he works for advertising, reportage and travel magazines. His photographs are published on The Face Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Seventeen, My Generation Magazine, Travel and Leisure Departures, The Economist, Time, Dwell Magazine and Men's Journal.


In 2003 he joined Contrasto, mainly concentrating on portraits and personal research."
